Joali Maldives is the first and only art-immersive luxury resort in the Maldives, with 60 art installations and interactive projects placed across the island. Guests can join ceramic workshops or carbon drawing classes at the on-site art gallery, taking finished pieces home as souvenirs. The resort's design blends Maldivian craftsmanship with contemporary minimalism, visible in every villa and public space.

Villas & Accommodation

All villas at Joali Maldives include private pools, direct lagoon access or beachfront, and spacious indoor-outdoor living areas. Overwater villas offer more than 300 m² of space with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean. Each villa is furnished with bespoke amenities, climate control via a single iPad, and a private butler called a 'Jadugar' to handle all requests.

Dining

Michelin-starred chefs run four signature restaurants: Saoke (Japanese overwater teppanyaki), Bellini (Italian), Tuh'u (Levantine), and Vandhoo (international buffet). The Street Market Buffet is a beachfront dinner with live cooking stations and a vast display of dishes. Guests can also visit the Mura bar for sunset cocktails, the ice-cream store with 30 flavors, and enjoy private beach dinners.

Wellness & Activities

The on-site spa offers a Turkish hammam, steam room, sauna, and a full menu of treatments including deep-tissue massage and facials. Yoga classes are held daily by the beach or in a dedicated studio, and a personal trainer is available at the fitness centre. The resort has a tennis court, padel court, water-sports centre with Sea-Doo and private yacht charters, and a marine biologist leads snorkeling at the house reef and coral nursery.

Family & Sustainability

The kids' club offers supervised art workshops, outdoor playgrounds, and multi-generational activities, while babysitting and strollers are available on request. Joali Maldives runs the JOALI Reef Restoration Programme, a coral nursery and turtle conservation sanctuary that guests can visit with the marine team. Seaplane transfers from Malé are arranged by the hotel, and the island's private beach and shallow lagoon make swimming safe for children.
